Challenges organizations face with mobile computing and mobile applications
There are many organisations that are looking forward to development of mobile applications; however they encounter several difficulties and challenges in developing mobile application. The first issue is that of having the resources that can do development/coding on the different available devices in the market. Also there is no integrated platform available using which the developers can develop application for the devices available in market. For instance they have to code differently for android and IOS (Joorabchi.et.al, 2013). Testing is another important challenge while developingmobile applications. There are many devices and the application must succeed in all the available platforms. The mobile applications which are developed needs to be integrated with some enterprise services; integration of mobile application and enterprise services is a complex activity. Security is also a major challenge while developing mobile application as the applications are storing important transaction data on the device. The data stored on the device can be accessed and be misused by hackers (Joorabchi.et.al, 2013). Thus it is important that the mobile application is incorporated with security features so as to avoid any security threat.
